The following provides a listing of Invitations to Bid and Request for Proposals that are currently being requested by Elbert County Government.
Invitation to Bid
The Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids for 15 sets of firefighters turn out gear consisting of jackets and pants. For specifications click the link below or contact Ryan Wright by e-mail at rwright@elbertga.us. Elbert County will receive bids until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2026 at which time the bids will be opened. Bids received after that time and date will not be considered. Bids must be sealed in an envelope and the words “A sealed bid” must appear on the outside of the envelope. Faxed or e-mailed bids cannot be accepted. Bids will be awarded on Monday, December 14, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.
All Bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Systematic Alien Verification of Entitlements (SAVE) program and the federal eVerify program.
The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids not in conformity with these instructions, and the County reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or the anticipated purchase.

The Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids for a side arm boom mower attachment with tractor included or an all-in-one side arm boom mower machine. Specifications and Requirements are as follows:
- Minimum 100 horse tractor or mower machine
- Minimum 24 foot boom
- Minimum 50 inch rotary cutting head
- Minimum R-4 Industrial tires
- Boom mower attachment must attach at tractor belly, no PTO attachments
